Amidst the rubble
The cross of Christ still stands strong
A symbol of hope
The concrete crumbled
The steel beams melted and fell
But still, Life goes on
Our things are destroyed
Turned to rubble on the street
But still, Life goes on
So much death we’ve seen
Yet memories linger on
Of Love imparted
Families and friends mourn
Loved ones now gone from this place
But Love lingers on
Men…who now wield fate
Give them wisdom from above
Impart Life and Love
