I write to find my voice
Like digging in the dirt to find treasure
Like digging in the sand to build a castle.
I write to find my voice
That is hidden deep inside.
I feel like I am drowning in a sea of
voices
That come crashing wave upon wave
On my ears and mind.
I write to find the refreshment from the
Fountain of Living water
That is deposited gently and quietly
On my soul and spirit.
The other voices are important
They can bring knowledge
But my voice is crucial
It brings life.
