All I Need

As I grow older the words and ideas get fewer

My need grows stronger for simplicity

And weaker for complication.

I don’t find the need to analyze to comprehend

I don’t find the need to argue to compete

I simply need to experience and believe.

“In the beginning was the Word

And the Word was with God

And the Word was God.”

“Know that the Lord is God

He made us, not we ourselves;

We belong to Him, we are His people.”

Knowing and believing that is all I need

To know and believe.

All the rest is just commentary.
