LIFT YOUR VISION HIGH

“Where there is no prophetic vision
The people cast off restraint,
But blessed is he who keeps the law.
Proverbs 29:18

The prophetic vision is not a dream that comes out of no where.  It is firmly rooted in the Law of God.  It comes with a blueprint and a plan that originated in the beginning with God.  It involves looking at the Law and seeing with eyes of faith how the Law can be connected and incorporated into every aspect of life.

Manifesting the vision takes time and discipline.  It builds upon the life, words, and teachings of Jesus, who is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets.  The invested time and discipline are well worth the time and energy because they will produce a completed work that will last forever.

The blueprint and the plan is outlined throughout the Bible.  It is important to look over the whole of the blueprint and be knowledgeable of the plan as a whole concept, not just in small parts.  God is an Alpha and Omega kind of God; the beginning and the end.  Knowing the end of the work is necessary to make sense of the whole vision.  It is also important to look through eyes of faith because parts of the vision are not available to the physical eye.  This has been the quest of men and women since the beginning of time; to live by faith and not sight.  This takes patience and trust in God, which at times is no easy task.  But again, it is worth the time and energy because what the outcome is will last forever.

The days and times ahead will be trying and difficult.  But as a child of God I can stand firm on the promises made generations ago.  I have seen the Lord come through, time and time again.  Often during those times I cold not see with my eyes what the outcome would be.  I had to walk by faith or I would not have made it.  But I did and that bolsters my faith for the days and times to come.

I need to lift my vision high for the times ahead have never been walked before.  Keeping true to the blueprint and plan, standing on the completed work of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and keeping my mind clear of distractions and on the promises of God will be the path laid out before me.

“You keep her in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because she trusts in You.  Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock” (Isaiah 26:3,4).
