He came and did so much
And got so little in return
Only Mary truly saw His needs
And ministered to Him
Anointing Him before
And after His death
She spent time and paid attention
Wanting nothing in return
Except to sit at His feet
She didn’t get so wrapped up
In her own wants and needs
That she didn’t see His.
Mary got it.
